πŸ‘‡ What is Storecall?

Storecall simplifies your operations by turning messy checklists, scattered follow-ups, and manual workflows into structured, trackable processes.

You can:

  • Digitize daily checklists and audits

  • Log faults or incidents across teams

  • Create approval flows for things like leave or discount requests

  • Assign and track follow-up actions

  • Run real-time reports

  • And schedule reminders via our built-in Scheduler


🧩 Template Types

There are three types of templates in Storecall:

βœ… Audits

Used for structured checklists run against locations. Examples: Store cleanliness audits, safety inspections, opening/closing checklists.

πŸ“ Logs

Used to record ongoing or process-based activities β€” also tied to locations. Examples: Fault logs, stock transfers, delivery issues.

βœ”οΈ Approvals

Used to route submissions through one or more approvers. Not tied to a location. Examples: Leave requests, discount approvals, asset return requests.


πŸ— Creating Your First Location

Submissions for audits and logs require a location. To get started:

  1. Go to Locations β†’ Create Location

  2. Give your location a name

  3. Optionally assign:

    • A location group (e.g. Region or Area)

    • A sub-group

    • An email for auto-notifications

    • A manager from your existing users

  4. Click Create Location


🧠 Understanding User Roles

Each user belongs to a User Group, which controls permissions on a group level, as well as access to templates.

Besides a user belonging to a User Group, there are 3 user types that each user is assigned as:

  • Admin: Full control across everything

  • Manager: Can see their own submissions and actions + those of their group

  • User: Only sees their own submissions and actions with limited permissions.


🧰 Explore and Use Templates

Your account includes ready-to-use templates categorized by workflow type.

  1. Click View Templates on the home screen

  2. Browse by category (e.g., Faults, Safety, Cleanliness)

  3. Click a template like β€œCamera Faults” to preview

  4. Use it as-is, or open in the Template Designer to customize:

    • Add or remove questions

    • Change field types

    • Set mandatory fields, enable scoring, allow file uploads, and more

You can also import/export sections using Excel for faster template building.


πŸ“ Create Your First Submission

Now that you have a location and template, you're ready to create a submission.

  1. Click Start Submission

  2. Select a template (e.g., Camera Faults)

  3. Choose a location

  4. Fill in the sections and questions

    • Add comments or upload files

    • Assign actions if something requires follow-up

  5. Click Complete Submission β€” your data is saved, shared, and logged!


πŸ” What Are Actions?

Actions are follow-up tasks that:

  • Can be created within submissions or manually

  • Are assigned to users with a due date and priority

  • Automatically send daily reminder emails

  • Can be updated or reassigned by admins

  • Help your team close the loop on any issues

⏰ Smart Scheduler: Automate Reminders

The Scheduler allows you to automate recurring submissions so nothing gets forgotten.

With it, you can:

  1. Choose a template (e.g., Daily Hygiene Audit)

  2. Assign it to a user or group

  3. Select a location

  4. Set the frequency: daily, weekly, monthly, or custom

  5. Storecall sends automated email reminders β€” and tracks if submissions are missed

Storecall includes a powerful reporting engine that lets you:

  • Filter by location, date range, or template

  • Add any fields from your templates into the report view
