Unpublished Submissions
π Unpublished Submissions
Unpublished submissions in Storecall are locally stored drafts that allow you to begin a submission, pause midway, and return to complete it later. These drafts are especially helpful when dealing with time constraints, device interruptions, or internet connectivity issues.
β¨ What Are Unpublished Submissions?
Each time you start a new submission, Storecall automatically saves your progress as a draft in the Unpublished list. This means you donβt have to worry about losing data if you navigate away, close your browser, or lose internet connection.
β οΈ Important: Unpublished submissions are stored locally per device. They are not synced to the cloud until you complete the submission.
Submissions created on your laptop won't appear on your mobile phone.
Other team members cannot see your unpublished drafts.
Each user's unpublished submissions are private and device-specific.
π How Are They Created?
A submission becomes "unpublished" the moment you:
Start a submission via Submissions β New Submission.
Select a template and (for audits/logs) a location.
Begin answering questions on the form.
From that point on, Storecall continuously autosaves your progress into the Unpublished section.
Youβll find this list under: Submissions β Unpublished
π Managing Your Unpublished Submissions
On the Unpublished Submissions screen, you can:
βοΈ Click on a draft to resume where you left off
β Select and delete any drafts you no longer need
Each row shows:
π The location
π The template name
β° The last saved timestamp
Once you click into a draft:
All previous answers, comments, uploaded files, and assigned actions are prepopulated.
Your draft continues to autosave in the background.
π
Completing a Submission
When you're ready:
Scroll to the bottom of the form.
Click Complete Submission.
This action will:
Upload your submission to the cloud so your team can view it
Trigger all relevant email notifications and action assignments
Automatically remove the draft from your Unpublished list
Youβll also see a Delete Draft button in the submission view if you change your mind and want to discard the draft completely.
π Why This Feature Matters
Flexibility: Start anytime, finish later.
Resilience: No data loss during disconnections.
Privacy: Only you see your unpublished work.
Unpublished submissions are ideal for field users, store managers, or anyone working in environments with limited connectivity or shifting priorities.
